WEA Richmond Branch (Adult Learning Within Reach) provides classroom and online courses, including literature, history and health.
Founded in 1989. We rehearse at St Michael & All Angels in Barnes on Thursday evenings in term-time. A mixed-voice choir with particular emphasis on a cappella music, our repertoire embraces seven centuries. We usually perform 4 concerts a year around London. We welcome new members.
We are professional model makers and sculptors for the film, TV and museum industries.
Our recently renovated workshop and studios on Colne Road in Twickenham provides a venue to show some of this work over a limited time in the summer, when we open as Colneroadstudios, as part of the Arts Richmond Open House Studios.
A Singing Group for adults of all abilities. No requirement to read music, but welcome if you can. Music is chosen from a variety of styles & genres: Gospel, Pop, Soul, Classical etc! Warming up is seriously great fun with its own collection of songs. Free trials @ Whitton Community Centre, Saturdays 11.15am & 12.15pm.
Twickenham’s oldest amenity society, formed in 1922, & dedicated to saving the house from demolition. We meet regularly throughout the year & the Society continues to be active in the community. New members welcome. All meetings are held in the Salon of York House at 7.30pm unless otherwise stated.
We are a youth theatre group for 16 - 25 year olds. The group was started back in 1970 by Eric Yardley and is now run by an organisation of volunteers consisting of past-YAT members and others who have assisted over the years. We are also a registered charity (number 1165458).
