WEA Richmond Branch (Adult Learning Within Reach) provides classroom and online courses, including literature, history and health.
Founded in 1989. We rehearse at St Michael & All Angels in Barnes on Thursday evenings in term-time. A mixed-voice choir with particular emphasis on a cappella music, our repertoire embraces seven centuries. We usually perform 4 concerts a year around London. We welcome new members.
A Singing Group for adults of all abilities. No requirement to read music, but welcome if you can. Music is chosen from a variety of styles & genres: Gospel, Pop, Soul, Classical etc! Warming up is seriously great fun with its own collection of songs. Free trials @ Whitton Community Centre, Saturdays 11.15am & 12.15pm.
Whitton Choral Society is a mixed four-part choir. A membership of ~35 people, & a friendly group with a wide range of ages & abilities. New members welcome, no auditions. We rehearse on Wednesdays, 7.45pm - 9.45pm @ Whitton Baptist Church. Affiliated to The National Federation of Music Societies.
A newly established, independent theatre company, led by experienced & Swan nominated director Susan Conte, producing amateur theatre to the highest professional standards in order to showcase best local talent in challenging productions. New members welcome.

Art Studio with garden access. Artist led workshops for 1-1 & small groups in watercolour techniques, acrylic painting and iPad drawing/painting.
The London Wetland Centre is a 105 acre award-winning nature reserve in Barnes, and London’s first large-scale, man-made, inner city wetland reserve. One of the 21st Century’s greatest urban conservation projects.
Twickenham’s oldest amenity society, formed in 1922, & dedicated to saving the house from demolition. We meet regularly throughout the year & the Society continues to be active in the community. New members welcome. All meetings are held in the Salon of York House at 7.30pm unless otherwise stated.
We are a youth theatre group for 16 - 25 year olds. The group was started back in 1970 by Eric Yardley and is now run by an organisation of volunteers consisting of past-YAT members and others who have assisted over the years. We are also a registered charity (number 1165458).
