Arts Richmond is a voluntary organisation and independent charity with 100+ affiliated societies, based in the borough of Richmond upon Thames.
We represent the voluntary arts sector on the borough council’s Arts Advisory Forum, and provide a wide variety of services and events aimed at promoting local arts and cultural activity so that people know what's on and how to get involved in our thriving local arts and cultural scene.
Our objectives
Publicity and publications
Arts Richmond publishes 11 monthly newsletters per year, distributed to our members and to the public via the Public Library Network and other cultural venues throughout the borough.
We also provide the opportunity for our affiliated organisations and other local cultural organisations to include flyers with our mailings, to cut down the cost of individual mailings and to ensure that the information is targeted to those who are most interested in receiving it.
Funding
Arts Richmond is partly funded by the borough council to produce our monthly newsletter, but over half our annual income comes from subscriptions from the societies affiliated to us and our individual members, as well as the fundraising events that we run. We also gratefully acknowledge donations from the David King Trust and Kay Williams.
Members, Volunteers and Donors
We are always interested in hearing from new members, potential volunteers and donors to support our work. Get in touch today!
