The Hampton Society

We are a group of local residents who have been independently representing the people of Hampton for over 60 years. Our aims are to preserve and enhance the area’s beauty and interest and to encourage a strong sense of community by sharing information and arranging interesting talks and events throughout the year.

Twickenham Art Circle

Formed in 1948 & today has ~140 members. Our Winter Programme runs Sept - March, meeting once or twice a month to paint /draw in the studio. Demonstrations are also included. In the summer we meet fortnightly to paint /draw at outdoor locations. We hold at least one exhibition a year. New members welcome.

Twickenham Choral Society

West London choir with wide repertoire. Rehearsals on Thursday at St Catherine's School, Cross Deep. As well as performing the great choral classics TCS has worked with many living composers giving several UK premieres. Christopher Herrick has been the choir’s conductor since 1974.

TwickFolk

TwickFolk has been bringing live music to Twickenham for 30 years. Run by volunteers, Twickfolk is now one of the leading hosts of live Acoustic, Folk & Americana music in SE England. Presenting live music most Sunday evenings at 7.45pm, at The Cabbage Patch Pub, Twickenham. No membership required.

University of the ThirdAge (U3A)

The U3A is a UK-wide movement which brings together people in their ‘third age’ to develop their interests & continue their learning in a friendly & informal environment. Members can enjoy groups covering a wide range of subjects. Monthly meetings take place at 2.30pm at Clarendon Hall, York House - open to all.
