Teddington Artists

Teddington Artists are a lively group of professional artists who live and work in the local area. They meet regularly to exchange ideas, provide artistic support and promote a high quality of work.

Teddington Choral Society

Amateur Choral Group, all voices and covering a wide range of music genres. We perform three concerts each year. Rehearsals: Mondays 7.45pm-9.30pm at St Catherine's School, Cross Deep, Twickenham, TW1 4QJ.

Teddington Theatre Club

Presenting ten productions a year, Teddington Theatre Club (TTC) is now recognised as one of the leading amateur theatre groups in South West London with state-of-the-art facilities in their own premises at Hampton Hill Theatre.

Thames Philharmonic Choir

The Choir's repertoire ranges from Allegri's Miserere to Verdi's Requiem. The membership covers a range of age groups, & the combination of high standards & friendliness ensures a regular intake of good singers. Membership is by audition & new members are always welcome. Full-time students may join free of charge.

Thames Youth Orchestra

Thames Youth Orchestra was founded in 2005, & its current membership comprises of students from ~25 schools in SW London. Its ethos is defined by a challenging, adventurous approach to programming, which combines well-established large-scale orchestral favourites with twentieth century rarities and new commissions.

Thameside Harmony Chorus

A four-part close harmony choir of womens' voices singing 'a capella' in the unique style of Barbershop, with a wide range of songs from pop mega hits to classics from the earlier 20th century. Rehearsing throughout the year on Wednesday evenings at the Hampton Methodist Church from 7.30pm.

The Arts Society Richmond

A society for those interested in all aspects of the arts with a programme of lectures, study days, visits & trips thoughout the year. Lectures on all aspects of the arts are on the first Tuesday of each month. Annual subscription £40 single, £75 double. No waiting list.

The Barn Church

The Barn Church was the first church in England to be built from a barn.The timbers come from a 17th-century barn in Oxted, which was dismantled and moved to Kew in 1929. The Barn Church is run by a large number of volunteers, providing services from Junior Church to flower arranging.

The Exchange

The Exchange is a newly built venue run by St Mary’s University and will be used for a mixture of University use, Community Group use and public events. The building has a 300 seat theatre, 5 studio rooms, a cafe and a bar. It is the building directly opposite the entrance to Twickenham station.

The Jazz Sanctuary

The Jazz Sanctuary is an exciting and vibrant jazz club based in St Margarets, Twickenham. Our aim is to showcase established and emerging artists and to bring more jazz and live music to SW London!

The Otakar Kraus Music Trust

The Otakar Kraus Music Trust (OKMT) is based in Richmond & was set up in 1991 by Dr Margaret Lobo & her husband Walter, to provide affordable music therapy for people of all ages who have physical, psychological, learning, behavioural or emotional difficulties.The Trust  also runs the OK Music School.

The Portcullis Trust is an independent educational charity (Reg: 281564), founded in 1980, that raises funds to help individuals in need who are studying at Richmond and Hillcroft Adult Community College.

The Ripieno Choir is a small chamber choir of ~30 singers, directed by Huw Morgan, based in Esher. We perform a range of sacred & secular music, specialising in the music of Renaissance & Baroque periods. The Twickenham Museum

The Twickenham Museum is the history centre for Twickenham, Whitton, Teddington & the Hamptons. Even our location at 25 The Embankment is a part of local history! Open Saturday 1pm - 3pm, and Sunday 2pm - 4pm.

TOPS Musical Theatre Company

If you can act, sing or dance, or have other skills either back stage or front of house, we'd love to meet you! You can also join to support us & take advantage of members only offers. We rehearse on Tuesday nights at Whitton Community Centre. Membership £20 a year (plus a performing fee that varies from show to show).

Turner's House Trust

Sandycombe Lodge (Turner’s House)  was built by 1813 to the designs of J.M.W. Turner. In 2017 the property was comprehensively restored with money from the National Lottery Heritage Fund and today is open to the general public from Wednesday to Saturday, 12pm-4pm. Booking essental.

Twickenham (Borough) Local History Society

The Borough of Twickenham Local History Society focuses on the history of Twickenham, Whitton, Teddington & the Hamptons. Meetings are held at St Mary’s Church Hall, Twickenham, 8pm on the first Monday of the month (Oct - May). Guests & non-members are welcome (there is a small charge).
