Spring Term Production - Aladdin Jr.

We are thrilled to announce our next production is Aladdin Jr!

Disney’s Aladdin JR. is based on the 1992 Academy-Award-winning film and the 2014 hit Broadway and West End show about the “diamond in the rough” street rat who learns that his true worth lies deep within.

Aladdin and his three friends, Babkak, Omar, and Kassim, are down on their luck until Aladdin discovers a magic lamp and the Genie who has the power to grant three wishes. Wanting to earn the respect of the princess, Jasmine, Aladdin embarks on an adventure that will test his will and his moral character.

With expanded characters, new songs, and more thrills, this new adaptation of the beloved story will open up “a whole new world” for your young performers!

The show will play at Hampton Hill Theatre from 30th March to 2nd April 2022.

From January to March our Twickenham Green  Cast will rehearse on Saturday afternoons at St Mary's University from 2pm to 4.30pm and perform on the main stage at Hampton Hill Theatre. (Production week is 27th March to 2nd April)

Drama, Movement & Music Classes for 4-6 Years Children.

Lead teacher Katie Barton will be taking the children on a deliciously exciting journey next term as they jump into the classic story Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

Exploring classic stories through drama, movement and music, children will take on the roles of characters.

Using props, drama games and most importantly, their imaginations to recreate key scenes, they will share a short presentation with parents during the final session of term.

Our classes are designed to provide children with a safe & secure environment where they can develop their talents as young people and grow in confidence and self-esteem.

Drama benefits children on many levels and as they navigate their way through key stage one, having a regular creative platform will help them to find their feet as well as their voices.

      Teechers by John Godber

An A* classroom comedy from one of Britain’s most popular playwrights

This frantic play within a play sees students Gail, Hobby and Salty pay homage to their idealistic drama teacher Mr Nixon in an end-of-term play.

Teechers depicts life in a modern school with all its social politics for both teachers and students alike. Far too many characters played by far too few actors, in this fast-moving and highly entertaining play.
