Spring by Barbara Lee

Colour them yellow
Blue or gold
Spring is shedding the winter cold
Petals and buds celebrate a new dawn
Baby white lambs are newly born.

Colour them red
Or snowflake white
Colour them silver like the moon at night
Trees with green leaves all crisp with dew
Spring is here and everything is new.
