Tantrum by Ken Mason

It’s bang, bang, bang on the drum
If he can’t hit the drum he has tantrum
He lays on the floor with legs in the air
And screams and screams without a care
Until pa and ma are in despair
Pa and ma are in despair

It’s ring, ring, ring on the bell
If he can’t ring the bell he raises hell
He jumps up and down enough to break
Through the floor and spits like a rattlesnake
Until pa and ma are about to break
Pa and ma are about to break

It’s cry, cry, cry and then bawl
He doesn’t like those greens at all
He throws the bowl down on the floor
Refusing to eat even one spoon more
Until pa and ma can’t take anymore
Pa and ma can’t take anymore

It’s yawn, yawn, yawn noises cease
As he closes his eyes the world’s at peace
He looks like an angel in repose
With blonde curly hair and cheeks of rose
Until pa and ma go to bed comatose
Pa and ma go to bed comatose
