SHOES by Pete Jardine

Shoes
Before you criticise somebody,
You should walk a mile in their shoes.
That’s what they say.
I get criticised all the time.
So I find myself wondering,
Whether people have been getting into my shoe cupboard.
I keep it locked.
That’s MY shoe cupboard.
It’s bad enough being criticised
Without people messing with your shoes.
Get your own shoes.
I’ve got enough problems.
I’ll have to get some disinfectant now.
Perverts.
