Coping in Colour

In this exhibition, the six artists all turn to colour to explore the complexities of contemporary society.

Drawn to the use of bright colours often associated with concepts of joy and happiness, they explore more dark or problematic subject matters, helping to make difficult topics more approachable. Colour can be used as a form of escapism, and this exhibition highlights some ways in which it can help us not only escape but also give us the strength to tackle problems straight on.

The artists in this exhibition invite you to take a step back and then let the colour draw you in.
