Calling All Young Artists

9 Oct 2021 - 10 Nov 2021
Online

Powerjam, a local rock and pop band project, is looking for talented young artists who are interested in having their artwork featured as part of Powerjam's ongoing music releases under their label 'Powerjam Recordings'. The artworks would act as the cover art of Powerjam's various bands’ releases appearing on all online music streaming services (Spotify, iTunes, Amazon Music, YouTube, Soundcloud and many many others), as well as on their social media pages. All techniques and styles of artwork are welcomed. If you're interested and would like to submit your work, please submit as a jpeg to contact@powerjambands.com by 10th November for this year's upcoming releases and by January 10th for 2022 releases.

Powerjam is a unique not-for-profit and charitable project led by music industry professionals that offers budding and serious young musicians the opportunity to form or join bands and/or collaborations, and by providing the infrastructure to rehearse and gig regularly, as well as professionally record, market, and release music on all streaming platforms. Various teen bands at Powerjam have achieved over 17,000 Spotify streams (over 90,000 collectively!) of their recently released singles, and many of the young musicians at Powerjam have had their songs played on Radio stations such as BBC Radio 6, SW London's Riverside Radio, River Radio, & West Middlesex Radio. Powerjam bands have also participated in New York Times endorsed International livestreams and have gigged year after year on some of the most reputable stages in the area, including Richmond Riverside Music Festival, Strawberry Hill Music Festival, and St. Margaret’s Fair.
