Tuesday 22nd June at 8.00pm. A talk by Natalie Haynes Pandora’s Jar: Women in the Greek Myths. This fascinating book puts the women of the Greek myths on equal footing with the men. After millennia of stories telling of gods and men the writer and broadcaster rescues the reputation of the women demonised in classical literature in this erudite and funny study.

Author of five books including The Amber Fury, Children of Jocasta, and A Thousand Ships Natalie has written and recorded six series for BBC Radio 4, as well as writing for The Times, Independent, Guardian and Observer.

Talk held at St. Mary’s Church, Barnes SW13 9HL.

To book a place E mail join@barnesliterarysociety.org.uk from June 8th.
