Katey Brooks + support act D'Artagnan

This devastating singer-songwriter defies easy classification, her sound blending folk, soul, blues and country. Her 2016 I Fought Lovers EP received an enthusiastic reception from radio stations across the globe, including BBC R2, BBC 6 Music and CBC Canada. Growing up inside a cult, as a child Katey found refuge in song and to watch her sing live is to witness an emotional exorcism. Over a career spanning four continents, Brooks has performed in intimate living rooms, opulent concert halls and also at major music festivals including Glastonbury and WOMAD. With her new album Revolute under construction, the mercurial songstress is more determined than ever to do things her own way. “has the crowd eating out of her hands” -The Independent; “not to be missed” - Time Out.

    In the Gallery - knot.just.stitch

knot.just.stitch formed in September 2011 and is a collaboration between artists Joan Noble, Jen Henley, Susie Stone. With a common interest in mixed-media art, their abstract imagery is influenced by marks in the world around them. They use varied approaches and techniques, using fabric and paper for printing and collage, often with stitch for mark-making. They strive to continually challenge themselves to move out of their 'comfort zones', which is reflected in the diversity of their work.
