Tenor: Joel Williams
Bass: Timothy Edlin
with the Purcell Orchestra
Conductor: Andrew Griffiths

For their 250th Concert on 30 March 2019, Kingston Choral Society will perform Handel's Messiah just as they did at their inaugural concert on 30 March 1950. The work needs no introduction; it has been a firm favourite ever since its triumphant premiere in 1742. An exciting quartet of young soloists joins KCS and the period instruments of the Purcell Orchestra to perform this wonderful sequence of beautiful arias and memorable choruses, climaxing with the unforgettable 'Hallelujah Chorus'.
KCS gratefully acknowledges the financial support of the Josephine Baker Trust for the soloists in this concert
