      A Month of Sundays

A Month of Sundays by Bob Larbey

      Directed by Steve Taylor

Laughing in the face of oblivion

From the same pen as The Good Life and A Fine Romance comes this bittersweet comic gem. We follow the exploits of two care home friends, Cooper and Aylott - from the painful ritual of Sunday family visits and empty condescension, to valiantly flirting with the female staff – and discover that life can only be endured through friendship and laughter.

Macbeth  is a play about fear. When first performed in 1606 belief in witches and supernatural intervention in the governance of the realm were a given, and Shakespeare’s tale of political ambition, betrayal, and murder would have held a real sense of immediacy and danger for the audience.  To this day the play retains an aura of superstition, especially in theatrical circles.  At its deeper level Macbeth raises universal existential questions – at its simplest it can be as scary as The Woman in Black

"Come on and get up and stand up for our rights” in the pursuit of equality in the eyes of the law. Join the Johnson family as we retell an essential part of British history buried in the heart of Brixton, uniting all people in a bid to eradicate the barrier between all races.

    • The 4 Clowns of the Apocolypse

The end of the world is nigh!

      Well, maybe.

The Horsemen of The Apocalypse assemble to fulfil their prophesied function and with epic scale incompetence they grapple with universal destruction and deckchairs.

Comical, magical and visually stunning, The 4 Clowns of The Apocalypse is a sensorial, nonsensical delight for the whole family.

Teatro do Montemuro from Portugal and the UK-based Absolute Theatre, both with great experience of creating innovative theatre, come together to present this highly entertaining, anti-apocalyptic production.
