      Fabric Collages

      Work with artist Dominque Holt to explore the work of experimental textile artists Nina Morgan and Lisa Kokin. Taking their work as inspiration, you’ll learn innovative textile manipulation techniques to create a personalised A3 wall hanging.

      This is a three part workshop taking place on Thursday evenings: 8 November, 15 November, and 22 November.

      Travel Photography Talk

      From Yellowstone to Route 66, leading travel photographer Roger Reynolds will be displaying a large body of work from the USA in his talk "Journey." There will also be recnet images from India and Iceland as well as a brief look at some assignments in the UK.  There will be a wide variety of subject matter incluidng landscape, nature, people and documentary taken at varying times of the year.  As well as being a prolific photographer and speaker, having given over 1000 lectures in the last 10 years,  Roger also judges at major UK and international competitions and runs photographic holidays through his company Non members are warmly welcome at a charge of £4.  See for more info or email

      Surrey Sculpture Society - Landmark Sculpture Showcase Exhibition

      Surrey Sculpture Society will be staging their fourth annual event. A wide range of sculptures in all sizes and in various materials including glass, metal, bronze, resins, clay, stone and found objects will be on display including classical, contemporary and abstract styles suitable for indoor and outdoor display. All sculptures and paintings on display will be for sale.

      'Island Hopping' Photography Talk

      All aboard for a fascinating journey around five islands, South Georgia, Galapagos, Newfoundland, Guadeloupe and Benbecula, with photographer Lucilla Phelps.  Most of the islands were visited in a tall ship. Lucilla is an international lecturer and judge and holds Fellowships at both the British Institute of Professional Photography and the Royal Photographic Society.  She has been Principal Photographer with Sotheby's Auctioneers and is now a freelance photographer working in Fine Art photography of Antiques and Collectables and in Insurance Photography.  She also hosts photographic workshops in the French Alps in June for wild flowers and October for autumn colours, and in Costa Rica every May for wildlife and scenery.  Non members are warmly welcome at a charge of £4.  See for more info or email

      Richmond Film Society – screening of ‘In Between' (Israel/France)

      Three young Palestinian women in Tel Aviv seek to shape their own lives and destinies away from the immediate strictures of their families and communities, although the pressures of a traditional, intolerant and patriarchal society are never far away.

      Lithography printing made simple

      Work with artist Marcus Woolf and take inspiration from Oaks Editions Lithography Studio’s exhibition at the Riverside Studios gallery. You’ll be inspired by the Richmond Borough Art Collection and learn how to use everyday materials to create and print four plates.

      Suitable for artists of all levels, including beginners. All materials are included.
