Talk: Kingston School of Fashion

St Marks C of E Church Hall

23 October 2020 -
19:00

Caroline Alexander will give a talk on the 1990's revival of craft embroidery ateliers such as Lesage.

Information which may be of help for visitors:

At present we plan for this talk to go ahead but numbers will be limited. Please contact  Kbegmembers@gmail.com to book a place.

Please arrive from 7pm for a 7.30pm start, giving you time to sign in, we are a very friendly group and you will receive a warm welcome.

You will need to wear a mask and you will be spaced out in the hall, 2m social distancing to be adhered to.

On arriving through the narrow entrance we will ask that you wait behind the lines one at a time. Hand sanitiser will be provided.

Unfortunately we are not able to offer our usual sales table and library at this time.

Please bring your own tea, coffee or water if desired. Toilets will be open but please do not congregate near them.

There will be a few news & notes before the talk.

Your first visit to one of our Friday evening meetings is free, second and third visits are £10.00 each and thereafter we ask you to please join our membership - a happy group of embroiderers and textile enthusiasts of all skill levels & ages (we also have a Young Embroiderers Group), with lots of fun and interesting activities on offer.
