DANCING IN THE BREEZE
For the Young at Heart
Bluebells wearing pale blue hoods
Dance gaily in the dark-green woods
Daffodils too join in the fun
And lift their faces to the sun.
Hyacinths not wanting to be left out
Display sweet perfumes with a shout.
Crocuses dressed in different colours bright
Weave and dance to the wind's delight.
And snowdrops, delicate fairy bells
Peal their tune throughout the fells
And dark green woods provide a bower
For the majestic sight of flower power.
