INEXPERIENCE by Ruth Marler

INEXPERIENCE

It is never easy

to start a car

left standing outside in the cold

pull out the choke

let a richer mix

flow through

the inexperienced

overdo it

give too much

so then

have to wait

not sure for what

all there is -

is the waiting time

till things improve

temptation is

to have another go

                                    turn the key

it seldom works

and only means

the wait is longer still
