Eel Pie Island ArtistsEel Pie Island, nestled in a bend of the Thames at Twickenham, has long been renowned for its historical association with musical talent - visiting rock stars during the 60s & 70s included the Rolling Stones, David Bowie & The Who. However, it is now gaining recognition for its diverse artistic community, including award-winners and those who exhibit at national and international level.
Twice a year the artists of Eel pie open their doors and invite the public to their studios. Visitors can explore the fascinating array of welcoming studios tucked in and around the working boatyards of Eel Pie Island. Here you can discover a rich array of affordable art and craft - for the home, garden or for that special and unique Christmas gift.
Come along and meet the artists, discover a fantastic range of unique and affordable artwork and experience the atmosphere of the island.
The open studios are usually held in the last weekend of June and the first weekend of December. Please check our website for the dates.
