Richmond Arts Service and Orleans House Gallery
Orleans House Gallery provides educational art workshops in a peaceful and comfortable setting along the river, where all ages and abilities are welcome and supported by our expert art educators.
Richmond Arts Service, which is based at the gallery, runs a variety of festivals and events throughout the year, including the renowned Richmond Literature Festival and the Music and Drama Festival.
The Stables Gallery displays a broad array of modern and traditional art exhibitions, and the converted stables café is a lovely place to visit for refreshments. Sitting opposite the café is the Coach House education space - a light and spacious area used for workshops and available for venue hire.
The gallery’s beautiful Octagon Room is currently undergoing renovation works, which are set to finish in November 2017, when the new main gallery space and shop will also re-open to the public. The Octagon Room will then continue to be available to hire as a picturesque Wedding venue. Upon re-opening the main gallery will continue to house Richmond borough’s varied art collection.
